Hey everyone!
Hope you all had a great weekend; this weekend had been all about family for us. Fireworks show, The Children's Museum and a mani pedi for Mya! The museum was great and I definitely would recommend taking your little ones it was a little pricey. I think only due to the place being a non profit organization. They had a lot of hands on exhibits that she was able to enjoy. I was worried she may have a hard time finding things to play with and get pushed to the side by the older kids but she did great. Some kids did not understand the concept of wait your turn but that's to be expected. Some parents did not understand the concept of watch your child that is not expected. Getting out the house to do all of these things this weekend was definitely a process. You would think as she has gotten older she wouldn't need so much in her bag and it wouldn't take so long to get out of the house...ha wishful thinking. Cup, extra outfit, diapers, wipes, toys more toys, snacks and more snacks... oh and her purse that I end up carrying she's a diva. This weekend we also found a nail polish that is safe for babies it is a low odor, eco-friendly and a water based polish. It is great and Mya loved the chance to be pampered by one of her MANY aunts. Mya even did a pose when I asked her to take a picture... she normally does a quick cheese and runs away. So any chance we can get a good pic it’s a successful day! I also got a chance to make her some headbands; she is wearing one in the pic. Not to mention we did all of these things while I had to finish a ten page paper! Not tryna to toot my own horn but toot! Toot! It has taken me a while to figure out how to juggle her and life in general, but she is definitely worth the struggle and I get it done! One more thing if you would like to leave some comments as to what you think would be good topics to discuss I am open to suggestions! Hey you all!
I thought I would make this posting about my first trimester of pregnancy… let’s just say it was not what I expected. It wasn't the worst thing ever but it was different to say the least. I had a high risk pregnancy so for the whole nine months I was with a doctor who dealt with such. This happened only due to me not being in the best of shape (:0), but I did have a great doctor. He may not have been as personable as I would of liked and a little awkward but he got the job done. During the first two months I felt great aside from the constant peeing… and of course the nausea. A lot of my nausea happened due to my prenatal pills and mint toothpaste so I switched my toothpaste to cinnamon (this didn't help it was unavoidable). There are pills, teas and other remedies to help with nausea I never tried any so can't recommend a certain kind. There is also this one thing that happened in my first trimester towards the end, but still happened sooner than expected. It’s called my jeans got too tight and it’s was chore to put them on. I would recommend if you can just getting a belly band that goes over your jeans. If you’re pregnant in the summer maxi dresses are great investments since you can wear them after your pregnancy. I didn't buy many maternity clothes why spend so much on clothes you won’t wear for that long. Sweat pants, lounge wear and dresses became my best friend… oh and water duh! Hi,
My name is Natasha but you can call me Tasha, I am a mom to a little girl, her name is Mya. She is a little diva and a monster in the best possible way of course. I started this blog because I love giving mommies advice. I find that there is so much people do not tell you about pregnancy, birth and motherhood in general. I am an open book and may be a little blunt but these are just my experiences. But I promise to give you the best advice I have. I am currently in college for Communications Disorders, my goal is to be a Speech Pathologist. Then eventually open a business, but enough about that. This blog will consist of new things I try for Mya and myself, anything I have learned over the past two and half years. Anything that has worked for me and has not worked for me. So lets get this going, feel free to leave comments about anything and I will do my best to reply. Hopefully this goes as I plan :-) |
